Researching Hill End & Tambaroora – Books & Newsletters etc.

Useful books & maps specifically relating to Hill End and Tambaroora and adjacent goldfields.

Many early books written on the goldfields were produced without comprehensive indexes. To assist your research volunteers in the Gathering Group have spent the last few years indexing a selection of these publications.

Those marked with an * includes numerous lists of names of families and individuals associated with the Hill End & Tambaroora area.

Some of the earlier works may now be out of print however copies may be available on the second-hand market or ask your local library to obtain a copy on Inter Library Loan. Others have links to our Publications Page where you can purchase copies.
